| I've been a photographer for four years. I picked up my first camera around the age of eight. It was just a film throw away from a local Wal-Mart. I loved capturing my friends and family in their candid moments! I also loved taking photos of nature and animals. I started going through three or four cameras a week! In High School I joined the yearbook staff and became the photographer. I learned everything about Adobe Photoshop CS2, and journalistic photos. This is when I realized I wanted to do Photography for a living. Throughout my senior year I took senior photos for my friends and even got asked to do my first wedding! After I graduated I took a Photo Journalism and Digital Photo Journalism class, learning more about Photoshop, Caption writing, and the art of film and digital photography. I graduated with an A.A. Degree which focused on Business and Art. I now teach myself new techniques and advanced editing by buying my own books and putting my camera to work. Since 06 I've had many friends, family, and even strangers ask for my photo services! Each photo shoot is a blessing because I love capturing those moments you can look back on and have a smile on your face. I also love working with different clients and customizing their photo shoot to fit their own unique personalities making them stand out from the rest! Even though I keep most of my portrait and landscape photos rather classic, I do love manipulations and HDR's. Maybe one day I will start going more into that field. For right now I work from the comfort of my own home, driving to meet my clients at their favorite on-location sites! The next step of my career is to buy a home with large amounts of land to make outdoor studios and even an indoor. It will be nice to be making some of my own money again! I haven't been on a shopping trip in over two years :S haha. But I am rambling now! Quite happy and glad to see after a year of being broke and relying on roommates, we finally got out of that stoop!
